Physiotherapy in Gerontology
Physiotherapy in Gerontology is a specialty dedicated to offering and providing a better quality of life and health for the elderly. Our goal is to promote independence and longevity through behaviors that preserve motor function. We work to postpone the appearance of disabilities resulting from aging, in addition to functional rehabilitation, valuing and respecting the physical, psychosocial, cognitive and emotional potential and individualities of each elderly person.
Neurofunctional Physiotherapy
Neurofunctional Physiotherapy is a specialty that acts preventively, adaptively or palliatively in the sequelae resulting from damage and changes to the nervous system. Our work aims to promote the recovery of the ability to carry out daily activities, allowing the individual to reintegrate into the community. Each treatment is personalized to meet the unique needs of each patient, ensuring effective and humanized rehabilitation.
Vestibular Rehabilitation
Vestibular Rehabilitation is a complementary, non-invasive treatment that uses specific maneuvers and exercises with the eyes, head and body. Our goal is to remedy or reduce as much as possible the symptoms of dizziness, vertigo, tinnitus and imbalance, resulting from vestibular disorders. We work to reintegrate individuals into their daily lives, providing greater safety and quality of life.

Car Medical Clinic was founded in 1973 by a group of doctors who felt the need for a holistic clinic in the community that served a wide variety of medical needs. The clinic opened in a large Victorian-style house and has grown over time, with the addition of more than 70 doctors and specialists.
ABOUT US
Well, my story with Physiotherapy began in 2000, at the age of 28, when I decided to make a career transition and dedicate myself to this beautiful profession. In 2004, I started my new professional life and, throughout this journey, I have dedicated myself to rescuing the functions of daily life that may have been compromised. My goal is to provide the independence so desired by all of us!
From 2005 to 2010, I had my own practice in Barra da Tijuca, called Fisioterapia & Movimento - Núcleo da Saúde. There, my team and I worked in the areas of Neurofunctional and Vestibular Rehabilitation.
At the end of 2010, my family and I moved to Denmark. Working in public hospitals, which are the basis of healthcare in that country, was a valuable experience that enriched my professional growth.
Back in Brazil in 2014, we lived for two years in São Paulo, where I opened a practice in the Paraíso neighborhood, close to Avenida Paulista. In 2016, I returned to my beloved Rio de Janeiro, where I am to this day, working in an office and offering home care with my new company, MM - Mais Movimento & Saúde.
Just like in my first office, the word "Movement" is present, as I believe that movement is capable of bringing physical and emotional health to you, my dear patient!
